据有关资料显示，机动车驾驶员在没有饮酒的情况下开车，发现前方有危险情况，从视觉感知到踩制动踏板动作之间的反应时间一般为0.75秒。饮酒后，酒精会对人的中枢神经起麻醉抑制作用，这时司机反应能力有所下降，甚至会出现动作失调、手脚失控的状况，往往不能正常控制油门、刹车及方向盘，也无法正确判断距离和速度。据测算，驾驶员酒后开车，发生交通事故的几率将增加16倍左右。

民警还说，交警所查处的酒后驾驶行为主要集中在酒店、餐馆、娱乐场所集中区周边，红绿灯路口等交通流量大的地方。现在查得严，酒后驾驶行为发生的时间也推后了，以20时至22时这段时间为高发期。

注意!酒驾摩托车同样违法

“现在酒后驾驶汽车的少了，但酒驾摩托车的还是比较突出。”市公安局交巡警大队相关负责人介绍说。

众所周知，摩托车只有两个轮子，稳定性比汽车差。民间俗称开摩托车为“肉包铁”，平时开摩托车就应加倍小心，酒后驾驶摩托车，更危险。在酒驾宣传和整治中，民警发现不少驾驶人对酒后驾驶摩托车不以为然，认为酒驾摩托车并不违法，这种认识显然是错误的。根据相关法律法规规定：酒后驾驶“机动车”所包括的范围是指：以动力装置驱动或者牵引，上道路行驶的供人员乘用或者用于运送物品以及进行工程专项作业的轮式车辆。大汽车、小汽车、摩托车同属机动车辆。驾驶人酒后驾驶燃油助力车、摩托车同样会受到刑罚或行政处罚。

扫盲!“酒驾”和“醉驾”的区别

根据新的《道路交通安全法》，交管部门对饮酒与醉酒的处罚是有区别的。国家质量监督检验检疫总局发布的《车辆驾驶人员血液、呼气酒精含量阈值与检验》国家标准(gb19522-2004)，为交管部门依法认定酒后驾车这一交通违法行为提供了依据：驾驶人血液中的酒精含量大于(等于)20毫克/100毫升、小于80毫克/100毫升的行为属于酒后驾车，含量大于(等于)80毫克/100毫升的行为属于醉酒驾车。
