in the spring festival we often eat a kind of food that is called dumpling which is considered to be the tranditional chinese food. it is made from pie of meat,different vegetables and****that covers the whole pie. when boiled ,it is often put into plates or bowls in which you can also have some soup.

chinese like dumpling not only because of its delicious taste but also because of its meaning of families get together during spring festival.

when i was a little greedy girl,i keen on dumpling. but unforturnately my mother told me that we can’t afford good meat and vegetables . i said what i really cared is not pies it had but its good taste. so i could eat dumpling every day that made from carrot and potatoes when i was a little girl. that made me happy.

now the living standard has improved.dumpling is often eaten as a usual meal. but every time when i eat dumpling i could’t help myself from recalling those old happy days that my mother gave to me. i think in all my life my melidy for dumpling will be unchanged.

dumplings are a kind of chinese traditional food which is made of flour, water, vegetables, meat and many different kinds of spice, and they are popular with chinese people. people like to eat dumplings as they are delicious and easy to make. in particular, people sometimes eat them for celebrating special festivals such as the spring festival, the mid-autumn festival and many other festivals. in order to eat delicious dumplings, we may know how to make it at first. i often make dumplings with my family and i enjoy it very much. so let me introduce the method of making dumplings to you.

firstly, prepare all the food materials sufficiently. before making dumplings, the materials need to be prepared sufficiently. there are many necessary materials no matter what kind of dumplings we make, such as flour, water, bean oil, salt and pepper. what other materials we need depends on what kind of dumplings we want to eat. if someone wants to eat pork and chive dumplings, pork and chive also need to be prepared.

secondly, make the dumpling wrappers. at first, put the flour into a basin and then add warm water into it. mix them to form a large piece of dough and cover it with damp cloth. after about 20 minutes, cut the piece of dough into many pieces of small ones, and roll them into thin and round wrappers as far as possible with a rolling pin. in this way, the wrappers can be made out.

first you make the dough by mixing water into the flour.the container shculd be big enough lest the flour and water will overflow.press the dough with your hands till it is not sticky.when the dough is ready,leave it there for use later,then go on to make the fillings.

the second step is to mince the meat,mushrooms and shnmps till they are mixed in a paste.add some spice such as ginger and onion and stir them evenly.

the third step is to make the wrappings.roll the dough with a round stick into small round pieces of wrappings,each two inches in diameter.

the fourth step is to put the filling in the middle of a wrapping.then press the wrapping tight and a jiaozi is ready.when you have made enough jiaozi,the next step is to boil them.

that is the last step.put a pot of water on the stove.when the water is boiling,put the jiaozi one by one into the water and cover the pot.when steam comes out,add more cold water and when it boils again add cold water a second time.when you see the jiaozi floating in boiling water,you can put them in bowls or plates,get the chopsticks and be ready to eat.

here is the process of making dumpling

to make dumpling, first of all, you should chop the meat into tiny pieces and mash them, then add salt, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, scallions, chinese cabbage and msg if you like. mix thoroughly the ingredients and meat filling, add two spoonful of water if necessary.

in a big bowl, add water to flour gradually. (caution: not too much at a time!) mix and knead by hand to soft dough, then cover it with towel and put it aside for about an hour. scatter some dry flour on the board, knead and roll it into a sausage-like dough about 5 centimeters in diameter, then chop it into small pieces. press each piece with your hand and get a pancake. finally, you should hold the pancake with your palm and put the filling in the center and wrap it into half-moon shaped and seal the edges.

the next step is to eat. put the dumplings into boiling water, when it is well cooked, it is ready to be served. however, before eating, you need to prepare some small dishes to contain the mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil or pepper oil ( to suit your own taste!)

星期六的中午,我和妈妈来到外婆家。我瞅见桌子上的饺子皮,就知道一定又有美味的饺子可以吃了!谁知等会儿外婆有事要出去,所以,饺子要靠我们自己动手,哎,我们只得自己动手了。

来到厨房里,妈妈做午饭,外婆做饺子馅料,而我就站在旁边看着外婆。外婆用洋葱和蘑菇加猪肉做馅。她首先拿出三个洋葱,先将它们清洗干净,然后切成薄片,再切成小丁。外婆切着切着眼泪就不由自己主地掉了下来。妈妈说:“你们要听话呀,奶奶做饭都在哭。”我心想:明明就是洋葱的威力大,还说什么外婆为我们掉眼泪。终于切完了洋葱,外婆双手一捧,小丁们就到了他们新的“家”——盆子里。然后外婆从柜子里来出自己秘制的辣椒罐,用手抓了一大把辣椒放进盆子里。突然电话铃响了,接了电话外婆便匆匆忙忙地走了。妈妈便接手了外婆的“工作”妈妈又按照外婆的方法将刚晒好的蘑菇和芹菜切好了,放进了盆里。然后又将刚切好的肉末放进盆子里加上了各种佐料:_盐、五香粉……等等。最后她用按摩功成功地将肉菜合一了。

馅料做好了,我用碗打了一碗清水,还洗了手,一切都准备就绪了。我学着妈妈的样子,把饺子皮往手上一摊,再在饺子皮周围抹上一圈水,这样饺子皮在包的时候才能更好地黏住。接着就是最重要的一步了:放馅。为什么说他是最重要的一步呢?因为饺子的形象就取决于它。如果包少了就像一个打了败仗的士兵,反之,如果包多了就会像一个大胖子似的,一定要包的不多不少才好。我拿起勺子,先舀了一勺,觉得有点儿少了,于是又舀了一勺,最后将饺子皮的两端合上,可是那些馅料好像不大喜欢这饺子皮似的,都想逃出去,我只得任它们逃。哎!第一个饺子以失败告终,毕竟万事开头难嘛。我吸取第一个饺子的经验,馅料越放越少,终于还算有模有样了!

通过包饺子这件事,我明白了:世上无难事,只要肯攀登!是啊!是没有什么事能难住我们的,只要我们肯去努力,再难的题也能迎刃而解的!

前几天,我去外婆家,看到外婆正在准备包我最喜欢吃的饺子,正好我就用这个机会向外婆学习一下。

在包饺子之前还有很多的准备工作。第一步就是准备饺子馅。我们准备包白菜肉馅,我们用外婆自家种的白菜,既无污染,又新鲜。我负责洗,外婆负责把它切成菜丁。剁肉的难度有点大,所以还是让外婆来完成。只见外婆飞舞着手中的大菜刀,我仿佛看到了一个大侠,在我的目瞪口呆中,外婆已经把一块肉变成了一堆肉末,我不由得给外婆竖起了大拇指。饺子馅的材料准备好了,然后我们拿出一个大盆,把菜丁和肉末放进去,再加入适量盐、酱油、油、生姜,搅拌均匀,哈哈,这个“适量”全凭外婆的经验,这样我们的饺子馅就大功告成了!

第二步就是包饺子了,这也是最难的一步。饺子皮是圆的,外婆边演示边耐心地讲到:“我们先把适量的饺子馅放到饺子皮的中间,然后用手指蘸一点水,在饺子皮的外面一圈涂一遍,这样是为了把饺子皮合起来的时候容易一点。然后我们再把饺子皮对折,中间部分用大拇指和食指压一下,把边上的外面一层_卷进来,再捏捏紧,你看!一个饺子就完成了。”“哇!原来包饺子这么简单啊!”我感觉我一下子就明白了,立刻拿起一张饺子皮准备大干一场。可是当我包的时候,不是馅放多了漏出来,就是馅放少了瘪的难看,原来要包好饺子也不是那么容易的。不过我并没有放弃,我重新认真地学着,一步步照着外婆教我的方法,一次又一次地练习着,终于包得有点样子了,手法也越来越得心应手,外婆看到我包的饺子后,露出了满意的笑容。

第三步,煮饺子。饺子包完了,接下来就是放到锅里去煮。外婆倒了一大锅水,经过漫长的等待,水终于烧开了,我迫不及待地把我包的饺子一个个扔进锅里,急得外婆直喊:“水烫!小心!”我等啊等啊,感觉过了一个世纪,终于盼到饺子出锅了!满屋子浓浓的饺子香扑鼻而来,馋得我口水都流出来了,外婆帮我倒了一点醋,看着我狼吞虎咽的样子,边笑边说:“慢点吃,小心烫!”我得意极了,吃着自己包的饺子格外美味!
