阳春三月，发生了一起河水污染事件，让美丽的沱江河成为了一条哭泣之河。从2月16日到3月2日川化二厂向沱江河排放纯氨氮20xx吨，河水发出恶臭，氨氮指标超标40—50倍，上游河段达到100倍，这可是惊人的数字呵，会致人怪病甚至患上癌症的，已造成了大规模死鱼，死鱼达50万公斤，沱江生态受到严重破坏，直接经济损失上亿元，致使简阳、资阳、内江百万居民停饮自来水。这是全国近年来最大的水污染事件。因为时间持续到3月2日，被称为“302”事故。现在时间虽然已过去一年多，排污工厂受到了处罚，工厂排污得到遏制，但河边污染水源的情况并未停止。河滩上到处都有烟头、纸屑、果皮、塑料袋等各种垃圾在污染河水。
针对现在的河水污染情况，我想，如果我是市长，我将会采取以下几种办法治理污染。
一、河滩放置垃圾桶。
我发现现在河边没有垃圾桶，只有河堤上才有，而人们都有一种懒惰心理，丢一次垃圾要花几分钟，很麻烦，大多数人就干脆把它丢在河里和地上。就近在河滩放置几个垃圾桶，又花不了多少钱，简便易行，解决了人们丢垃圾麻烦的问题。
二、河滩设置管理人员。
现在人们不想把垃圾丢进垃圾桶还有一个原因，就是人们发觉河滩没有人员管，可以乱丢垃圾，造成环境污染。安置管理人员强制管理人们的不卫生习惯。
三、加强环境保护的宣传。
现在人们乱丢垃圾的另一个原因是环保意识差。要在办公室、学校等公共场所进行宣传，提高人们的环保观念。学校也可经常组织学生到河滩捡拾垃圾，增强学生的环保自觉意识。
四、多植树木，防止水土流失。
大家知道黄河是怎么来的吗？就是因为它流过的地方有黄沙流失，积少成多，慢慢就成了黄河。如果我们多植树木，就可以防止河岸上泥土流失，以免成为第二条黄河。
能按这样做，我相信一年内沱江河将成为最干净的河。
