可是左等右盼，那泥土丝毫未变。他有些焦急，但这一切似乎都在情理之中，他知道急也没有用，只好耐心的等待。
终于有一天，泥土中钻出了一个新的生命，但这个生命真的太幼小了，让人想起了“林妹妹”，好在“宝哥哥”不嫌弃她，每天依旧给予她水的关爱与阳光的体贴。这个“林妹妹”就在“宝哥哥”的庇护下，度过了一段彩虹般的时光。但是，乌云不会总是在天上闲逛，总有时间去遮住那体贴的阳光。
他见到这个“林妹妹”，自然是欢喜十分。但他发现，这个弱小的生命真的只能学会生存，甚至——连生存都难以保持，更别说开花了。他心中的那朵拥有美丽与芳香的花，落下了。
